IIDA First Place for Wharf 7 at Daniel Island

With a First Place Multi Family Residential award from IIDA, J. Banks Design Group continues to take home design awards of merit. Our team was recognized for our work at Wharf 7, a luxury apartment complex in Daniel Island, SC.

This organization presents more than ten competitions annually, each one celebrating a different aspect of interior design worldwide. We are so pleased to receive this nod from the organization for our interiors at Wharf 7.

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is a vibrant organization in our industry, as well as a commercial interior design association with a global reach. The association describes their role as such: “We support design professionals, industry affiliates, educators, students, firms and their clients through our network of 15,000+ members across 58 countries. We advocate for advancements in education, design excellence, legislation, leadership, accreditation, and community outreach to increase the value and understanding of Interior Design as a profession that enhances business value and positively impacts the health and well-being of people’s lives every day.”

The authentic stance of the IIDA makes it stand out as an organization. Describing its mission, the IIDA notes it understands that membership is personal, meaningful, and shapes each of us as individuals and as practitioners throughout our careers. “IIDA advances the profession of Interior Design through the progressive cultivation of innovative leadership,” they go on to say; “and by constantly advocating for exceptional design.”
