MELANIE CONGDON, ALLIED ASID

Earning her Interior Design degree in 1995 from The University of Mississippi, Melanie Congdon designed with firms in Mississippi, Georgia, and West Virginia before joining the J. Banks Team in 2018.

Her goal is to create a feeling of home whether in a primary, secondary, or commercial space with classic and timeless selections. She seeks elements that speak to her client’s point of view and history making their space a true reflection of the inhabitants.  In her designs, she considers the location, architectural details and those enjoying the space creating a unique design highlighting all three elements distinctive for each client.

Each space is a joy to create partnering with her clients, utilizing the extensive in-house design library and her cultivated relationships with craftsmen and vendors.

Melanie is energized by the projects she is honored to work on.  Bringing together the potential of a space with the personal tastes and loves of her clients is the highest satisfaction.
