In this image, we’ve paired the Gorman Sectional and Royer Bunching Coffee Tables, both products in our J. Banks Collection for EJ Victor. Sectionals are used to divide spaces, of course, and to invite lounging. We’ve designed the Gorman Sectional with an extra-wide surround to provide additional seating when your room is filled with party-goers, but it’s just as comfortable when it’s just the family gathered around for movie night. Pairing it with the Royer Bunching Coffee Tables is brilliant, as you can group these flexible cubes and rectangles into any arrangement that gives you the configuration you need—spread them out when the room is filled to capacity or gather them close when an intimate evening is at hand.
Focusing on our own experience with what we could not find in the marketplace, we worked with product development at EJ Victor to achieve timeless upholstered pieces and case goods that will work in virtually any setting. The designs in this collection soften the boundaries between home and resort, pairing an underlying functionality that does not disappoint in performance but also lives up to the level of style a luxury residential project demands.
Designed by Joni Vanderslice for EJ Victor, the Gorman is included in the J. Banks Collection of furnishings for the North Carolina furniture manufacturer. “We know and understand hospitality but have seen the need to create designs that are at home in a residential setting as well as in a commercial space,” notes Vanderslice. “Our hospitality projects are known for blending the look of residential with the scale and functionality of hospitality.”

This collection has come together so well because we focused on scale, function and flexibility, which affords a number of options for each piece in it.
