Banks Design Group, an international firm based in Hilton Head, with her focus to bring Lowcountry coastal vernacular into the future. She already completed one three-bedroom home, which seamlessly blends the region’s traditional aesthetic with today’s modern sensibilities. She achieves this by custom designing furniture that marries the two styles; mixing marble with concrete; applying oyster shell tabby in new ways; and by painting the ceilings blue – a twist on Southern folklore.
