J. Banks Design was recently featured in The Bluff, a publication of Palmetto Bluff, for their work on Moreland Village. Moreland Village is a new construction project that serves as a high-end resort community social hub offering multiple activity options and gathering spots where both homeowners and resort guests can enjoy authentic Lowcountry living. The Village is comprised of various amenity spots that include the Outfitters Center, the Social Club, an outdoor amphitheater, and two pools with private cabanas.

The Outfitters Center combines several striking and state-of-the-art buildings organized around a series of courtyards, acting as a natural social gathering space. This Center includes a gourmet grab & go deli with restaurant style seating and closely connected is a history center, a conservatory, a sales office, and outdoor concert spot.

The Social Club is the heart of the village and made up of inter-connected indoor and outdoor spaces with a game room, bowling alley, smokehouse, bar, lounging areas and a spacious activities lawn with hammocks and fire pits. This central spot draws the residential neighborhood together and creates an authentic community – think oyster roasts and moonlight cocktail parties around fire pits, and friendly bowling competitions.
