Several examples are Golf Inc. magazine’s awarding the firm a First Place Private Clubhouse nod for John’s Island Club. Though the honor is for the entire building, which includes the architecture, we at the J. Banks Design Group know that the interiors we design contribute significantly to the quality of the aesthetics and the experience the building provides.

We have also been tapped as the Reader’s Choice Awards for both The Island Packet, a Lowcountry news outlet, and Hilton Head Monthly magazine a number of times. It heartens us when the people in our region recognize our quality and give us a shout-out to confirm it.

We feel fortunate to have been awarded a number of accolades for our projects by industry organizations, such as the ASID and the IIDA. For instance, the Leadership Media Award from the ASID Carolinas Chapter was given to Joni Vanderslice, president and owner of J. Banks Design Group on Hilton Head Island, at the organization’s conference on November 17, 2017, in Charleston, SC.  The award recognizes outstanding contribution to promote the profession of Interior Design and ASID.

J. Banks Design Group has received top honors from the ASID for their Excellence in Design awards. Categories in which we have been tapped included First Place Residence under 3500 sq. ft., First Place Hospitality, First Place Vacation Home, First Place Kitchen, Second Place Residence under 3500 sq. ft., and Honorable Mention Bathroom.
